Anyone planning on going?

as long as it's not dubbed in German...
pootle

Timing said is for english cinema...

The Italian Job 1915 - there's a World War I joke in there, but I've been told not to mention the war, and I wouldn't want to be accused of being childish...

Definitely interested in seeing The Italian Job tho - where's the cinema in question?
sparty
I am not really up to date with movies, but a couple of months ago I tried to download the Italian Job with Edward Norton in it, but I received a movie with the same title which was a movie from 1969. Does that mean the one you mean is a third one?
Jimbo
No, the Ed Norton one - the 1969 one is considered a classic in England, despite, when you actually think about, the fact that it's crap.
sparty
Okay, then I'll be up for it too...I don't have DSL anymore, so I can't get my own movies anymore sad.gif

Hey, I'll see it.

Not sure about these American adaptations of 1960's movies though.

Get Carter seemed like a pale imitation of the original.

I think I'll give it a miss. It looks shit.
Jimbo
Agreed - it doesn't look like a ground breaking piece of cinematograpghy, BUT having said that, it does look kinda fun, and I used to have a MINI so I have to watch it really. Oh, and isn't Charlize Theron in it?
flogger
wont be the same without the meister benny hill.
farce.
SparkaHck
Ok, the original did have Benny Hill in it, but not for very long and only there to get the US audience into the hundreds.

Hmm, all that Guardian reading has paid off - I can blame America for ruining not just the remake but the original.

Does anyone know where/when Kill Bill is on in English.

I'd like to see that *as well, on a different day*. I'm not trying to N*ddy the thread or anything.
