Conversion charts for gas oven temperatures
Converting marks 1-8 to Fahrenheit or Centigrade
My gas oven does not show degrees instead it has numbers 1 - 8. How does this convert to Fahrenheit?
here's a conversion chart. found from googling.
Fahrenheit -32 divided by 1.8 = Celsius
Celsius x 1.8 +32 = Fahrenheit
Celsius x 1.8 +32 = Fahrenheit

My gas oven has a listing that says
1 - 140C to 160C
2 - 160C to 180C
Each level is 20C.
