Hi folks,

I am currently at the end of my study here in Germany.
I am suppose to receive a one-year visa for job searching after having my student visa expired.

I wondering if the job searching visa is with 90days work permit or without any work permit at all.

The relevant section of the law is 16(4).
My Deutsch knowhow is limited.
Please help me to understand the stuffs written there.

Permission to work while looking for a job. You just blew my mind.

well, Krieg, I suppose I failed to deliver the message to you.

I am talking about work permit (90 days) for having minimum living expenses, like the job we can do in McDonalds, Burger King. Not the work permit for permanent jobs.

I received this in an email from my uni...

thanks kazoolander,

I have got the same reply, ie. it would be with work permit. However, some of my friends got work permit and some not. Also, today morning I went to the Auslanderamt and asked the same question to the lady sitting there and she said it is possible to work with that kinda visa.

I am confused and that's why I mention the relevant link. It would be nice if someone having a good Deutsch knowledge can go through that link and confirm what is written there actually.
