Hello,

I have been registered in Germany as a 3d Graphics freelancer for the last 5 years. I would like to know what I need to do to register a new business. Can I keep my status as a freelancer in one field of work and also have a business which is in a different field using the same tax number? Or do I need a separate tax number? Where do I need to go to do this? I assume the Finanzamt?
