Friend of mine is saying that there's some sort of Stuttgart tent at Oktoberfest but I'm not sure if he's confusing it with the similiar festival in Stuttgart?
Thanks.

Maybe he is thinking of the
Canstatter Wasn which is on from the 26th Sept to the 12th October. Similar to the O-fest, just smaller and less hassle in the tents.

I hope not as I've been planning to hit Oktoberfest! So there's definitely no tent by that name?

You can check the Oktoberfest website - the
tents are named after the breweries ie Augustiner, Paulaner etc.

Apparently, there's a brewery called "Stuttgarter Höfbrau", and this brewery has a tent on the Cannstädter Wasn (not on the Munich Oktoberfest):

I've just been informed that it is indeed the one in Stuttgart. I really can't go to Oktoberfest on my own can I?

@ Partridge: Take a look here, some people offer their spare seats on the
exchange thread.

Ich liebe Stuttgarter Hofbrau. I drank MANY of them when I lived in Stuttgart (1985-87).. I like Stuttgarter much better than Munchener HB, but not quite as much as Hacker or Auggie or Paulaner.
