Dachauer Volksfest - Munich

The Dachauer Volksfest starts on Saturday 9th August and runs till the 18th. The fest is famous for it's cheap beer price, only €4,40 for a Maß, which is nearly half the price it will cost you at the Oktoberfest. Easily reached with the S-Bahn, the S2, this pleasant little fest is well worth the trip. An easy way to enjoy a little bit of Bavarian culture and get drunk on the cheap!

Is there an amateur boxing event held also?

Had a fun time on Sunday afternoon/evening. Great atmosphere in the big tent and I enjoyed the view from the top of the big wheel
