Book lovers in Kaiserslautern

I am having a hell of a time finding like-minded people here in K-town and around. In the States, I had a group of women with whom I met once a month. The purpose was officially to discuss one book that we all read, which we did. but the fun part was the "circle time" of just talking and drinking a glass (or two) of wine and updating. We'd meet some one's house, the host would make a light dinner and we'd all bring something.

Are there *any* people out there who are interested in talking about something other than kids *once a month for a couple of hours*?

We live 30 minutes away, and my girlfriend and her friends have talked about doing something like this. Maybe you'll be the impetus.

Either way, they don't have kids and they certainly enjoy wine.

I have kids and still enjoy wine. Yesyesyes, get them involved. Tell me who they are and I'll get them involved... anyway!! let's! and 30 minutes ain't far!
