the Isarbrückenfest is indeed being built today and this evening. i wish i had an overview of everything, but its just been replanned this week to make it bigger so i havent a clue except what im doing...
all of the bridges will be lit and there will be music, stages and art installations all along the banks. a stage should stand in front of the cinema at
deutsches museum on which a bunch of musical acts will perform. all middle of the road cack as far as ive seen. there was talk of another two stages, but i havent a clue what the deal is with them. a crane will suspend a large screen over the river which will display some of the scenes taking place along the
isar.
put it this way, itll be a nice chance to experience the river in a whole new way. the weather should be good, the beer is always good and the company is up to you to organise.
its pretty much the last big festival in the city as part of the 850 year celebrations.
