Experiences with Austrian and Finnair long haul

So I am considering going to the Far east next year, and some of the prices I have seen show that Finnair is the cheapest at the moment with Austrian second.

As I have never flown long-haul with either of these I was wondering if anybody has and what there experiences were like?

I have flown business class with Austrian to Beijing via Vienna. I was quite impressed with the service and quality of the food (althought they did draw out the dinner a little too long; i'd have preferred a quicker dinner and more time for shut-eye or films) despite the shitty transfer in Vienna. Can't say what cattle class is like. The business lounge is spartan but at least you get free Wifi. The thing that irritated me was the security check before entering the waiting area at the gate, which was totally over-crowded.
