Babysitter/mother's help wanted

Hi All,

another job available for those seeking extra income. Another German friend from playgroup is having twins in November, she already has a ten month old daugther and would like to find someone to help her out with the kids for approximately 20 hours a week. Ideally, you can start soon and get to know the little girl, picking her up from daycare etc. As the due date comes closer it would be good if you are more flexible to cover for times when she has to be at the hospital for check ups etc. English is not a problem, she speaks only a little but her husband is fluent and they may like you to speak English with the little girl anyway. As far as I know they don't require you to do house work as they are also looking for someone to cover that. See my other post regarding cleaniing job.

my name is Georgie and I am an Australian who has recently moved to Berlin. I have been living here for a month and have been attending school in order to learn some German. I have been travelling for the last few months, however prior to this I was working as a social worker in child protection in Australia. I have had a lot of experience with children of all ages. Whilst going through university, I worked in child care doing before and after school care, as well as vacation care. I also did some nannying in London recently with 3 children under the age of 4!

I really enjoy taking care of children, especially the younger ones - and this job seems like an ideal one to me! My name is Sarah, I'm 21yrs old and have recently moved to Berlin. I'm originally from England although I have been living in southern Spain for the last 6 months. Before that I had been living in London studying fashion illustration, which I would also like to continue with my own work here in Berlin. I would absolutley love to look after your little girl & also help take care of the twins when they arrive.

I have lots of experience looking after children of all ages, My mother used to run a rainbows activity group for 5-7 year olds, which I helped with so I've been brought up looking after children, although i'm an only child myself. I was an au pair looking after two little girls aged 8 months and 2 years old, for the summer months on the Cornish Riviera in England, while the Family were there on holiday. I have also more recently babysat for an english family in Spain, as well as countless times whilst studying in London.

I have just started to learn German, but must admit its still at an extremely basic level, which i hope to improve. I studied film in Scotland for four years and am pursuing a career in freelance storyboarding and illustration.
