Annual Isar BBQ party - Munich Int'l Ski Club

Just to let everyone know that the Munich International Ski club have moved the date of their annual Isar party and will now have it on 9th August. It's a good event and everyone is welcome. There's a chance to join the ski club and sign up for their annual Oktoberfest party in the Hacker tent.

WHEN: Saturday, 9th August 2008, we'll be ready to start eating anddrinking around 3 pm; games will start around 5 pm; clean-up to startaround 10 that evening.

WHERE: Under the John F. Kennedy Bridge, on the west bank of the Isar. The closest bus-stop is Tucher Park. Closest U-Bahns Dietlindenstrasse (U6) and Muenchner Freiheit (U6/U3). See Google Map

HOW MUCH:
1. The BBQ costs 10 Euros for members, 15 for non-members (all you can
eat and drink, first come, first served)
2. If you're signing up for membership, the cost is 35 Euros for
renewals and 45 for new members. This gets you discounts on all trips
and some events!

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the annual Munich International Ski Club Isar party. Even if you don't like skiing or snowboarding, everyone is welcome to come along. It looks like the weather might not be great tomorrow but don't worry, the BBQ is held under the JFK bridge by the Isar so it should be nice and dry whatever the weather.

The Schwabing run will be meeting at Scheidplatz about 2:45 with a couple of tters if anyone wants to join us. The bridge offers shelter from the rain and the food and drink is definitely worth stopping by. And I've heard they also still have Oktoberfest tickets
