"View new posts" and geographic locations

I couldn't find the "I want it in pink" thread, so I'm posting the request as a new topic.

When I click on the "View new posts" link, some categories like "Employment offered", "Items for sale", or indeed "Events and Meetups" do not have the location information next to them, unless it's specified in the thread title. Once you click on the actual thread, you do see where it is posted, of course, but it might be more practical and cut down on traffic if the regional information could also be seen in the "Forum" column.

Or am I being too dumb?

I totally agree with you. (As in you have to open the thread to see what's what not that you're dumb!)

We did have this feature. But it got lost in the software upgrade two weeks ago. It should return soon.

This is now fixed.



One day we'll eventually iron out all the bugs from the recent software upgrade. Possibly just in time for the next upgrade.

It may not be entirely fixed: I can see the geographic location info for Frankfurt (and Berlin), but not NRW. But I am not entirely discounting the possibility that it could be just me either.

NRW got missed. That should be fixed now.
