Making phone calls with pre-selection on Alice

(Sorry for the typo: "Alice ISDN-Unable..."

Hi ISDN people,

I am unable to make calls from my Alice ISDN phone using "pre-selection" numbers.
As soon as I dial the number, I am getting a recorded voice saying "something something ist nicht something" (sorry...no clue what that is/ means).

Has anyone experienced the same? How could I fix this?

I found the recorded message: Der Dienst ist nicht vergeben

You can't use pre-selection or call-by-call with Alice (or any other non-Telekom provider). That's one of the downsides. You can use call-through services or calling cards.
