hi everyone.

i'm totally new to this forum, i will be moving to Berlin in September and have a couple of questions that as yet i have not found an answer to.

i will be traveling by train as i am bringing my pet burmese python with me and i have been informed that it's fine to transport reptiles around the EU as long as you remain on the ground (or below the sea lol).

also if anyone knows of any reptile shops or petshops that sell frozen food for snakes in the Kreuzberg (ish) area that would be great as the internet has so far proven to be a fruitless source in this field.

thanks for reading my post, i hope you can help me and i'm sure i'll be on here again with a flood of questions over the next couple of months.

snake food - I don't know for certain - please check it out for yourself as I'm not a pets person - (apart from some stick insects that I can't work out how to get to Berlin!!) but I think Karstadt on Hermannplatz in Neukoelln might be the answer. Last time I was there there was a very extensive pet section including snakes. The only reason I'm not 100% sure of the answer is that last time I was there the pets department was closed for refurbishment - it should have reopened by now though

thanks for the responses.

if anyone has any advise on the move/relocation itself that would be great, particularly on the job front baring in mind my german is still quite basic i need to find any job options where english is a perk or at least poor german is not a hinderance.
