How to register a business VAT number (Ust-ID-Nr)
I am an einzelunternehmer and have registered myself as a consultant and trader. I just wanted to know where can i get this Ust-ID?? coz i want to export german products abroad..i have buyers ready but in germany every manufacturer asks for a Ust-ID??

thanx Käpt...so i have to go and pick it up from the local finanzamt?? how long does it take before they give me a number? or is it right away as soon as i submit the forms??
