In the discussion about increasing MVV fares I said a couple of weeks ago that the MVG was going to be offering more services and got a bit of a chorus of "yeah-yeah-yeah". So here's the gen from December:

U1 / U2 / U3 / U5: The rush hour level of service is extended by an hour.
U6: Moves to a 5 minute takt until 2000.
U2: More trains on the Messe section even outside of the trade fairs.

Tram 27: The 7/8 minute takt extended by an hour.
Nightbus N45: Runs 7 nights a week.

More bus journeys on routes: 53, 133, 144, 162, 168, 192.
New stops on Tram 27 and buses 51, 55, 132, 143, 151, 167, 193, 268.
Bus route extensions: 151, 168.
