Stuttgart Bohnenviertelfest (Bean Quarter Fest)

Information about this music and food festival in German is here.

It's known as the Bean Quarter Festival (due to its location in the so-called Bean Quarter). It's only on for two days : Friday 18.Jul.2008 and Saturday 19.Jul.2008. It runs from 11am until midnight.

Is anyone interested? It's meant to be quite lively, with loads of music provided by both live bands and DJs.

This is a great fest, and we had a Toytown meetup here last year too. I'm certainly in!

cool, i was hoping to check this out - preferably friday, because i have a party to go to sat in the early evening and then i was hoping to round up a couple folks to check out the balkan beats/gypsy party at the wagenhallen starts at 10pm and is supposed to be a blast!

sounds fun! am for friday aswell.. Saturday plans are still unsure.. there is this plan to hit Keller klub for a nice indie/brit rock session with a sip of absinthe? lol

ok - Friday evening works for me too. I've got a company do on Saturday (canoeing followed by a BBQ) and don't know when I'll be back.

Right - we all decided at the Hamburger Fischmarkt this evening that we didn't know exactly where to meet in the Bean Quarter tomorrow as we didn't really know where all the stages etc were going to be.

So, the deal with the bean thing tomorrow is the same as the Fischmarkt was tonight. Which is ...

8pm at the corner of Karlsplatz (where the Fischmarkt is) on Planie by the traffic lights. It's the corner where Planie and Goerdelerstrasse meet.

We'll then walk to the bean thingy. Anyone coming later, walk around until you find us, or text/call someone you know. Send me a message on here asking to swap mobile numbers if you want.
