Clubnight: DJ Hell @ The Registratur

it's approaching that time of month again... the first thurs of every month dj hell & a guest grace the 1's&2's @ die registratur [click here for directions]

opening for hell this month is live act 'mount sims' who will start @ around 10. hell usually gets on around midnight or 1 and plays 'officially' till 6am... he's been known to go much much much later [think right into the weekend]... hard to describe his style as he plays an enormous variety... from unremixed versions of beastie boys tracks to floaty ambient tunes to bounce off the walls techno... but he never lets it get static or repetitive & he's one of the best in the world @ reading a crowd. he has a residency @ amnesia in ibiza and a second home-base in NYC but he's a munchener-kindle and they love him here.

it would be fair to say i am very into music. i hate most clubs. i love well produced electronica played in an intelligent set. sometimes the two collide. welcome to hell.

That sounds delicious... but can't make it this time. Sucks to work.. really puts a damper on my weeknights!

Cause it´s shitty cold outside today I plan to move my butt to the HELL tonight to warm me up a little.

I always thought Bavarian Gigolo Night was gonna be full of posh students or Manta Drivers but I'll give it a go.

On the 4th Thursday at Registratur some mates of a mate of mine have a club night called Bang Gang and I had a fab time there.

Thursdays is the new black for going out I tells ya!

Will probably end up regreting it after you guys shout about how good it was, but will have to pass on tonight

If tomorrow is like the past couple of days I'll be sleeping at my desk anyway, but should at least make the effort to get there and not fall asleep on the U2.

Am going back to England for 3 weeks over Christmas, but if there are any other decent nights either this weekend or next I'll be there.

Do any of you lot go to Olydisco? I feel it sucks but I sometimes just can't not go.

never heard of it... but as a general rule i avoid venues with the word 'disco' anywhere in the title.

mount simms is a great live act... better get there early to catch it though... 11ish or so

keep an eye out for a girl with the long black feathers earrings bouncing around with the crazy-dancing euro-mullet-spiked-hair dude... can't miss us

p.s. last night was epic. placed was packed out with people having an awesome time till 6:30 in the a.m. recovery today is a bit rough but as always with hell... sooooo worth it

Just realised I'll be off work the next day so I'm gonna go for it!

Nice trip to HELL last night !!! I had to leave earlish though, around 3:30 cause my boss wouldn´t fancy it if I walk around like a zombie today.
Sorry wasn´t able to find u guys, never saw that place that crowded, they start sending people away at the door before 12:00.

Will be definitely up for a next time, but then I will take the Friday off from work.

yeah... word has definitely caught on about the night. sorry we didn't see you... i was keeping an eye out. only bummer is they have gotten in trouble the last few times that hell kept playing till midday friday or past so now they have to shut things down by 6am-ish. but that's actually probably for the best...
