I am not sure if this is a lot or little. 20% mercedes, however over how long a period I am not sure.
These has been 5 cars burned in the last 6 weeks. A lot? A little? certainly less than Paris I would imagine.
However there still seems to be a lot of lower end models, whereas the media is only reporting the high class models such as BMW, Mercedes as getting torched in Kreuzerg.
Edit: The earliest dot I could find was from 10/Jan/2007 so there is at least over 1.5 years worth of data here. so not as drastic as it seems. I personally have never seen any cars being burnt on the street. I park my car on the street with no worries.

unfortunately, people have been burning cars since 2005 (the french riots gave too many people ideas). and this apparently is popular in rome. what you see on the map is basically not the whole picture. basically, one car gets lit on firef (probably a highend model) and then the gas tank explodes and the cars around it catch on fire. that's the real problem. well, it's all a problem, really.

I noticed as well that in the SW the 'perps' seem to be providing a public service
I suppose the low incidence rate is a direct correlation with the high flat-rate / binge drinking you get with the yoof around SW Berlin . Most teenagers are too pissed round here to stand up straight by 5pm.
