Hello ppl,
About 6 months ago i bought a Creative 4gb, ZENv MP3-WMA-player. Every time i switch between music and video it gets stuck and the only possible way to resolve it is to charge it for N-number of hours. I am planning to return in to Saturn. Is it possible to get the money back? i have the original packing and the bill.
cheers

If it is under guarantee, yes, but they have the right to try and repair (twice i think) and offer a replacement.
I've had exceedingly good service from Saturn in Munich in the past, swapped or refunded no questions asked. There's a few other threads on your rights as well.

Thanks. That should do. I will try to encash it, if its not possible then will take a gutschein for the amount. Hope it works!

I bought a 4gb memory stick from Saturn not long ago and had numerous problems with it on Windows. When I attached it to a Linux system I found that it was full of data belonging to a Steuerberater. All his personal files and those of his customers were on it. I took it back to Staturn and pointed out what was wrong with it and they were pretty shocked but I got my money back. Looks like someone had returned it without wiping it first and then Saturn had just put it back on the shelf. Therefore beware what you are returning...

I've taken loads of things back to Saturn, although not after 6 months, but certainly after 3 and they've never made any fuss. The only thing they require is you fill out your name and address on their return form, I've never really understood why as they never ask for any proof so you could just make it up!
