New and expecting mommies around Ottensen - Hamburg

Hi everyone : )

I just moved to Hamburg from the US with my husband less than two weeks ago and love it so far. I'm pregnant with our first baby ( a boy/ Noah...due in Sept.) and was wondering if there were any other new or expecting mommies in the area who might want to meet up at a local cafe???

It seems to me, as I wander the streets of Ottensen, that almost half of the women in the area are visibly pregnant - I have been trying to avoid drinking the water

Seriously though, there is a group of international mothers in Ottensen, I can let you know when we next meet up and you could come along if you wanted. We all have kids (mine are the eldest at 2 and 4), but some of the other mums are pregnant again, or have just had bubs. Meetings are fairly infrequent from what I can gather (I'm a newbie), but I can always try to organise something if you are interested.

Baby Messe was super! Lots of useful information and cheap deals on clothing. I was advised that the UKE is a suburb location for birth. Has anyone got experience of UKE?
