Hi. I posted a message a few days ago trying to figure out whether I should be 'Freiberufler' or 'Gewerbe'.
Since then I am wondering if there may be some benefits for me as a Gewerbe:

I work part time as a Web Developer / Designer and part time on my own Filmmaking projects. So far the bulk of my income is from the former. On my tax return the last few years the general job description has been 'Web Design / Video'.
I guess if I take 'Freiberufler' status it will be for the Website stuff alone.

My question is if people have experience of combining somewhat different activities under the same umbrella as a 'Gewerbe' (and if this is normal), and how this affects calculation of income / expenses from the different activities?

Another consideration I have is that for my Website work I have so far been working as a contractor providing a service. But there is the possibility that I may in the future take a partnership with a client in their Website business (which is a business based in Norway...). How would this fit in...?

I know this is stuff that only a tax advisor can clear up for definite, but I would like to hear others' experiences if they have had to deal with similar questions.
