Snappy English phrases for "call center agent"

I am writing my American CV right now (for a job I have to apply for in English) and I stumbled upon this issue: I worked at a call center for a while and in my German CV i wrote 'Calling Agent' - but I think this is not really what you would say in English. Neither is 'Call Center Agent' as far as I know (my best friend suggested this). So what would you put into an American CV for this kind of job?

How about "Call Centre Employee"?

Hahaha I wouldn't be tempted to do that. Somehow I think they would not like that very much.

Call Center Customer Service Representative (or Agent)? It's wordy, but...
or just Customer Service/ Customer Care Representative/Agent

Customer Support Representative or Customer Service Representative. In my previous work as call center agent, we officially call the position as Customer Care Specialist.

I think there is a major distinction whether you were cold calling or only accepting incoming calls. The above descriptions will serve for the latter, but if the former then I have a few names but none that belong on a resume.

eurovol, I was calling out but I was calling T-Mobile customers in the name of T-Mobile (so we didn't just call random people).
Didn't really like the job (I don't like selling people stuff they probably don't need, wasn't very good at it either) and I only did it for a very short time but I figure I'd put it on the resume anyway, because experience is experience.
So in this case I guess 'Customer Service / Support Representative' might not work as I was calling customers, customers weren't calling me.

Customer Account Liaison Representative?
*Yes I just made that up, but it describes what she did and sounds very flowery hiding what she actually did.

You were a sales representative and so now try to make that sound better (ie do not put telemarketer).

I have seen stuff from 'Business Process Support Representative' to 'DomainXX (fill in your area of work here) Customer Support' ( like Insurance Customer Support Representative)

how about "telemarketing"?

Chuck the word "engineer" in there. Everyone else seems to. Customer Service Engineer. There you go.
