No kidding. Any Canuckleheads who may be homesick and longing to experience the rich cultural diversity of a Canadian tacky tourist shop, go see for yourself.
Interesting what gets exported as "Canadian culture". Moosehead beer? Who drinks that stuff? Where's the Keith's?? And where's the spicy clamato for Bloody Caesar tastings?? Incompetents are running the show, I tell you. And has ANYONE really ever sampled a "Beaver Tail". Not me. What IS that??
I suppose if they tried to demonstrate *real* Canadian multiculturalism, it would only confuse people. Too hard to take 1001 cultures and distill it into a stereotype... easier to trot out a Mountie and First Nations folks, and maybe a couple of Albertans in cowboy hats. Sad, really. Though I gotta say, those folks snared a really good gig.

You've never had Beaver tail- they are flat pasteries, with sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on top, or different toppings. There is a store in Winnipeg called BeaverTails, seriously!
I saw the Mountie yesterday evening, nice touch the braid in his hair...

Beaver Tails rock...that is what you have when you go skating along the Canal in Ottawa

And I must say...I do like Moosehead...although Keith's is also good. I miss Canadian beer to be honest

Some spicey Clamato would be nice right now... Cannot seem to be a Bloody Ceasar in Europe, or a good Crantini. Oh, well, thinks to look forward to... like The Keg size Ceasars, with a big plate of Nachos.
