Problems changing a personal profile photo

Tried to upload/change personal photo...photo doesn't show...it meets all criteria...ie. 250x250 <80k etc.

I had this problem and the photo update feature didn't work for me last week, so I did this:

- delete the current photo
- logout/login
- upload the new photo
- logout/login
- clear browser cache (specifically TT if you can, if you want to keep all other cache files)
- logout/login
- come back to this thread
- click your name to display the photo thumbnail
- while thumbnail is currently displayed, reload the page with the browser reload button
- logout/login

After all that your photo should display properly on the profile page and as a thumbnail in a posting. If none of this works the problem might be with the photo encoding/file type. My advice would to try a known good .jpg image, like an album cover from Amazon or something like that. If you still have problems then you might want to contact the board admin for advice.
