Children's playground meetup in Mannheim

Anyone interested in meeting a German couple (34 and 39) with a six year old daughter this or a coming weekend to just hang out on a playground and have the kids play together? We've been to New Bern, NC for 3 years and just returned from a job assignment.

I hope to get some replies. Would be awesome.

Well, well. My post has been in there for a while and no response so far. Today I've got the feeling I have to post again as I'm quite frustrated. The job is kind of boring, the neighbors bother me for parking my car in front of my own garage (as my car is standing on so called "common" property, meaning everyone owns the same rights to the ground, but I'm the only one who can park in front of his garage without blocking someone else). All in all, I'm feeling quite as a foreigner in my own country. I wouldn't have thought that living abroad for a while can change you so much.

We're not really up for the kid play date (only big kids here). We might be open to other possibilities though, or there's always the Tuesday night pub quiz.

Gilli might be more interested in the play date (new to HD).

A few months ago i noticed a mothers with kids group on here, so it might be worth you taking a look into that for things to do with kids.

Thanks for the tips. I'll check out the recommended posts tonight. Well, I guess the Pub night thing is hard to get to for me. I usually come home from work around 6-7 pm and then there's dinner, story time, etc.
But doing something else that's on the weekend would be great, too.
