Concert: Al Stewart @ Muffathalle

Green Tea reminded me that my favorite bard is coming around again: Al Stewart will be performing at the Muffathalle on Sunday 2 November 2008. Long time to plan ahead and avoid any clash of interest.
P.S. Calling Dave Nachmanoff "support" is like calling Mozart a pianist.

I missed him last time due to a conflict of interest with something else, can't remember what. Will try to make this one.

I last saw Al Stewart about 30 years ago, in a little hall in a small village in the middle of nowhere. I never did quite understand how this little village folk club managed to get him, but it was great. I shall go to this as long as they don't try to hoover out my wallet for the privilege!

Just checked München Ticket and it's €30, not too bad I suppose although Paul Weller is only €5 more and is arguably more well known.

I used to play Al Stewarts cassette in my car non stop just love that guitar in Year of the cat from acoustic to electric and then the saxophone ..Magic!

@ Allershause I saw Weller about 10 years ago in Offenbach near Frankfurt it was about 20DM for the ticket and there was only about 50 people there !!! but we rocked the roof off

I have secured my ticket and am really looking forward to meeting Dave Nachmanoff again and exchanging a few words with Al the Great. Is anyone joining me?

I would love too, but I've just realised I shall be in England for a wedding on that day! Oh well I guess we can't have everything, I hope the bridesmaids are cute!
