On Saturday, 12 July 2008, a charity match will take place in the Allianz Arena, Munich, 8pm.

- United against child poverty and lack of education -

Inspired by the 90th birthday of Mandela and the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, this campaign will be kicked off in Munich.It's aim is to raise funds for children development programms in Africa.

Radio Gong Goal for Africa

Entry at Stadium is 6.30pm, show starts at 7pm, kick off at 8.45pm.
Game is broadcast in 40 countries.

In the radio this morning, Mike and Kaka were announcing that Michael Schuhmacher will join a team.

I heard that a lot of the big names they claimed would attend weren't actually there...charity or not that's deceit.

true but rumour has it that there was a privat jet waiting in london for drogba and the other chelsea players to board but their club didn't allow it and some were injured (ie Kaka). it was still great to see gattuso, ballack and schuhmacher in action. smile.gif
