It seems all you have to do is paint your army helicopter white and and turn up at a Farc base and they will hand over anything you ask them for. Easy.

Sadly at least one person couldn't avoid farcing about with the title.

This fake rescue brought a lot of joy to me. Hope Ingrid can get back on track. I wish her all the best

It's all a bit too fantastic to be taken as real. However, fake or not, I think it's one of the best things which have happened in many years in all this confilct.
For the region, the FARC are a cancer, in every single sense. They survive on drug traffic and kidnapping of people not only in Colombia but in all the neighbouring countries. And it is about time this whole shit comes to an end.
Unfortunately, that fight stopped being a political one many years ago, and the only way to stop it is complete elimination.
