This time we present Summer Jam with Panjabi MC Live on Stage. Panjabi MC is a well-known star in the UK, the new style of Bhangra. Panjabi MC is known worldwide for its music, particularly his song Mundian to Bach Ke Rahi, Jogi and Dhol Jaggero there. In the music business since 1993 and has already released 10 albums. He has won several awards and with different stars worked together.

The Munich Mirchi Night will play not only Bollywood / Bhangra up, but also international music. The international music will be played by DJ Duff sets and Bollywood / Bhangra music will be played by DJ Babla and DJ Mirchi.

Panjabi MC .. I always wanted to meet him ...

How can you hype PANJABI MC as a major, unique act the guy does'nt even sing " Munde tu Bach " it was a artist called Labh Janua, who was'nt even credited. He is merely a D.J/ PRODUCER/REMIXER. He occasionally raps..wow..he can't repeat his songs live on stage.. he is a D.J set up. A waste of money if you ask me, I'm from the midlands and have seen him before maybe you should bring over proper Bhangra acts who can actually sing live. I won't be fooled also you refer to Bollywood fans, Bhangra and Bollywood are two different kinds of music DO YOUR RESEARCH MATE!

We write also Panjabi MC, mean he is MC/DJ. He is comeing from London to munich and perform his music on the stage.
We write also Panjabi MC live on the stage. He compose some populer songs like a mundia se bach ke rahi, jogi and more...
he already released nearly 10 albums. He is one of the best MC in UK. So please be respect for him.

-So i think it would be fun with Panjabi MC concert.
-Injoy first this event, we will breing in future some other big artist in Munich.

Yes Bollywood and Bhangra are two different kinds of music.
Bollywood is normaly Hindi film industry and it come from Mumbai. India has also South indian Film Industery and some other also.
We have very much kinds of music in other language, like a hindi, panjabi, tamil, telgu, kannada, bhojpuri, gadwali, gujrati, marathi, and some more...
Bhangra come from Punjab state, and this is a very special music. We have also some south indian music and it is also very much famous.

Man India is a great country with very much kinds of film/music. I think you need more study about of India.

I have no clue about Punjabi MC.

If it was the PR of Arya Events who posted here, he needs to be sacked/replaced. It gives us Indians the wrong image as a nation of grammatically incorrect english speakers. I presume an organization which advertises on an english speaking forum would do well to verify the content before posting.

Can I just clarify a few things...I know PMC is a MC...so how can he be a Bhangra King as you pointed out on your flyer. He is not a Singer so cannot sing live his hits like "Munde tu Bach".
He comes from Coventry and his name is Raj...I've interviewed him myself before I moved to Munich I was a Music Journalist covering Bhangra/ Asian Artists. I don't mean to go on but I know my
stuff ... Do You? and judging by your English language skills I think not.

Its easy to be a promoter just make sure the public know what they are paying for.. a MC or proper live act with band.
Yeah I'm well aware India is full of great music...so give Respect where its due especially if you are making a business out of it why should I not criticize your company.

I'm British born .. and feel passionate about Panjabi music so needed to set the record straight ! It would be interesting to know your background and knowledge of the
Bhangra music scene.

Hello my fellow residents of Munich!

I've recently arrived from London to live & work here. For me personally, I will definitely be going to this event & I shall state my reasons for doing so:

1) I'm new to Munich so it will be an opprtunity to socialise

2) I've been to a hundred and one Bhangra events so will be able to deduce what the 'vibe' is like over here

3) I enjoy my 'desi' tunes and will be able to dance around anonymously doing my 'light bulb, door knob' move (right now I'm restricted to dancing in front of my mirror!)

4) I hope there are some ladies like MidLass so that we can 'catch some joke' by taking the 'mickey' out of the other wannabe Bhangra-Muffins!

So, reserve a VIP ticket for me, as I intend to consume a few large Brandies on the Rocks and have a laugh!!!
