Last Minute: Hofbräuhaus Pre-Thanksgiving Party

Okay! I couldn't think of a better excuse than a "Pre-Thanksgiving Party" but...

Trying to gather a group to go to Hofbrau tomorrow (Nov. 24) at 7pm. I have a friend in town from the States sightseeing and can't let her leave without doing the most touristy thing in Munich.

I would just take her by myself, but we all know how calm, boring I am after a few maß. Figure it would be better fun with some TT'ers. \

So, everyone is invited. Please post and let me know if you are planning on coming. We will plan to meet at the entrance to HB at 7.

p.s. - For those curry eaters, you can come by for a maß or two and still make curry night at 9.

With the husband out of town I'm free to drink myself silly...only about 1.5 weinschorles required for that.

hmm this thread is getting interesting, even though i told you yesterday that there was no way i was going, i'm starting to reconsider

Have an important meeting in the morning which will decide if I stay longer in Munich or not, i'm sure i can pace my drinking (even then the meeting is not 'till 11 so I have a little time to recover )

i haven't had a mass since oktoberfest. could get ugly.

damn parrothead, this is really frickin' tempting. i'm determined to spend tonight refreshing the 'ol dye job & catching up on 'scrubs' though. please bring your camera, as i'll be unable to capture "someone" dribbling weinschorles down the front of their shirt.

oh yeah, for info - I took some foreign collegues there a few weeks ago and the main entrance was closed for maintenence as people has to go in via the side (beer garden) entrance. Just a heads up for your meeting up point plans

It was open as of 2 weeks ago. Just not particularly welcoming, with all the renovation stuff up around it.

the hofbräuhaus is open, but the front entrance is closed, you have to go round the side. this was last monday, maybe they've finished the work already, dunno

Not a problem. Let's make the meeting point right inside (in the warm) whichever entrance is open. PM me for my mobile if you are worried about meeting up or are going to come later.
