The Germans seem to be making heavy weather of it tonight, they certainly aren't making any serious dents in the Turkish defence. At the moment the Turks look more dangerous on their breakaways.

After that goal, my neighborhood is dead quiet!

I'm not really that interested in football either as a rule, but I caught a bit of the Germany - Portugal match and it was actually pretty good. Since there's not much else on TV at the moment I've got the match on in the background and the way things are going, I don't think I'm going to get much sleep tonight - 0 : 1 for Turkey and thoroughly deserved!

ok... I admit it... I snuck a peek at the TV, and immediately Turkey scored. Then I turned off the TV, and right away heard my German neighbours happily yelling about a German goal. I guess I'm banned from watching any more of the game now. Darn... yet another ban

Had you been watching your TV you'd have seen it. Of course if your not seeing it means it didn't happen then the same would probably apply to the whole game, so no need for a campaign.

Tell me about it!!! I live on a main road in Cologne and every time Turkey win they make soooooo much racket that I don't sleep until 3am. And that is with earplugs.
I know the Germans will make noise too if they win but they are more considerate and shut up after a couple of hours.
