Yeah, that was cool, although my arms ache today! Not to mention my tummy, after that huge curry.

And the TwiBa open mike night was a great round off, fun day!

I'd be up for Karting one every couple of months, I need to get good enough to not get lapped by Solo and Tom, you maniacs!! laugh.gif
Tom17
OK, so my arms were KILLING me while racing yesterday.. I was screaming (with my mouth) round some of the corners..

But now they are ok.. and my inside knee bruises are hurrrrting lol

Damn sports that make you hurt yourself for fun!!!

Will start a new thread after we finish moving to our new flat next week.. Will probably be late March(after payday)/mid April...

Some of us expressed interest in going to open practice sessions also.. Its €15.90 for all of us that have membership cards... €19.50 without for 15 mins track time. I think that would just be done on an individual basis though.
Ravski
Right side of my back and my right wrist hurts. smile.gif . Worth the pain though biggrin.gif

Pics are now available for viewing here.

Sorry they are not the best...due to the lighting and the obvious nature of the event...hard to take pics. But hopefully you will recognize yourself smile.gif

Good day out! And finally something on a curry menu that I like.

That is so cool how consistent Tom's results are from the previous time to this time! A great indicator of the quality of the establishment with respect to track/kart maintainance etc.

Can't wait for the next time! ph34r.gif
mellelisa
next time, the thought of Ronan Keating will not be distracting me and I will be much faster. hmmmm blink.gif
Tom17
Solo, yeah I was thinking that about them being so close... Does anyone in race 2 from last time remember if there were any parts of the race where we were under yellows for a lap or so?
ski
Yeah that was great fun and a nice track as well.

Thanks to Tom for organising it since I know what a pain in the arse (or should that be pain in the arms wink.gif ) it is organising anything and getting everyone to turn up!

Looking forward to the next one!
JoolyBooly
bloody hell.. i got better! but came nearly last! I'm not playing with you lot again biggrin.gif
Stephen
It was a very enjoyable day and many thanks to Tom for organising the event.

I'm very interested in doing another race or even just a practice session.

Surprisingly, I don't have any aches or pains today apart from my stomach. unsure.gif
Kings Town
Well i missed the last event in Feb, and am certainly up for challenging Tom. Never been to Kart Palast before but have karted a few times.

I think going for the 15 min practice might be a good idea, perhaps someone else might be interested in joining me?

JoolyBooly

fancy deciding to leave munich just as the Biergarten weather kicks in... tongue.gif
Tom17
Speaking of nice weather, and go-karting, we should also organise a trip to the Garching go-kart track in the coming months... Nice & big and outside.

Beer garden and terrace too!
JoolyBooly
is there such a thing? Wow, well done, cool idea!
