Went there last night. Excellent steaks. All cuts are presented to you as the waiters describe them and how they will be cooked. I had a Tenderloin which was cooked to perfection and served with a Dijon mustard sauce. All dining partners steaks looked excellent and all were extremely positive about their choices. Excellent wine list with some expensive options. Allows smoking (for me a negative). Often very busy so book ahead.

Glad you posted this. I was there just last week with work colleagues and everyone had a fantastic meal. You definitely need to book ahead, but I was able to snag a table for 8 earlier the same day. Keep your wallet open and enjoy the meal!!

Surf and Turf definitely do a great steak. The staff was good except for a couple of no-look walk-by's at untimely moments (better than at the Ivory Club, but could have been a one-off there). The smoking is a downer, but luckily usually at a minimum. The steak and drink more than make up for it. Have to admit, though, the steaks look so good that the turf has trumped the surf everytime.

Possibly the best steakhouse in Germany ... M, S&T and the Ivory Club are all owned by the same group and are virtually interchangeable (Ivory Club more Indian-influenced, but much the same food), so their volume means they always have the best beef. Splurge on the shrimp/prawn cocktail starter. Watch the winelist, though. They're always convienently "out of" the one you want and try to trade one up to the one 20-30% more expensive. Stick to the Chilean reds.
