Wel if Dortmund play against Real like they did against Malága, they won't be making it to the finals anyway...

True. That match could have either way easily.

I have to say my best option would be a Barca Dortmund final.

You should be expelled from Bayern.

Bayern Munich is the most convincing team to go through to the semi-finals. Barca only had two draws against PSG and Madrid conceded 3 goals in 15 minutes which made their defense look very poor. I don't believe that Barca is happy to play against Bayern Munich.

My list of fave teams. Never has it changed nor do I desire it so.

1. Timbers

2. Barca

3. SV Jahn

4. Bayern

5. Oldham

Back to the thread. Well for the german bar owners it will be great seeing a Dortmund/Bayern final.

Last year for the final about 15 Dortmund fans showed up in full kit to a local Bayern beergarten hangout. They were surrounded by 200 Bayern fans in a beergarden who were not so unagitated. After Chelsea won the Dortmund fans got up and walked nice and slow out the front gate not saying a word. Then there they were, the Bayern fans, watching them leaving also not saying a word. Very surreal.

I think Borussia Dortmund got the luckiest draw of all! Of course, the LAST game always determines who the best is.

THE TRUE FINAL will be played out between Barca and Bayern München, and those two games are going to be awesome! The winner of that matchup will mop the floor with the remainder.

One more thing: LOS, BAYERN!! :P :D

I hope they lose the final, that'll annoy them more...

...it might also teach them they can't steal Pizarro (AGAIN!) and get away with it ;)

absolutely - just look at the table

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012%E2%80%9313_UEFA_Champions_League#Quarter-finals

Málaga 2–3 Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid 5–3 Galatasaray

Paris Saint-Germain 3–3 (a) Barcelona

Bayern Munich 4–0 Juventus

the ONLY team not to concede a goal was Bayern Munich. all the other teams had goals scored against them, proving that their defense is crap. these were not "difficult games" either. if Bayern maintains its current game style and success - it'll end up being penalty shootouts to determine the winner/loser.

And it's looking very likely, too.

Well done, Bayern. 4-0 win against Barcelona.

Jeez, what a game!

Only seconds left with Madrid ahead at 2 - 0 but behind by 1 on aggregate.

C'mon, Dortmund. :o

If Bayern pull it off tonight, what are the chances that for the finals paaablik fiew-ink will be set up in at least the larger beer gardens?

I'd say very good to excellent. There's even been talk about setting up the Fanmeile in Berlin. I'm sure the beer gardens would set up projectors.

I'm wondering if the German national anthem will be played at the final.

The sound of "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles, Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit für das deutsche Vaterland!" ringing out from Wembley stadium and across London will be a joy to hear. :D

My god, Bayern Munich are phenomenal.

Robben has scored. It's 1-0 right now, and even if Messi gets called off the bench to play, there's hardly any chance for Barca to make a comeback.

Indeed! Great. To shut down Barca...

Well, that went better than expected. I believe 7:0 is the biggest score ever in a semi-final.

Indeed a joy to watch this team playing. So much class and teamwork.

A quick question for all your English people here.

A lot of Germans are raving on about how the English people are absolutely sickened at the thought of two German teams battling it on on their sacred ground, but to be honest my Enlgish friends and family (well the ones that watch football anyway) are just looking forward to a good game, fair enough, they would have loved to have an English team playing, but they are nor more p****d off as they would be if it had been two Italian/Spanish/French or any other combination

How do you all see and what is your experience of the mood "back home"?
