Once upon a time I was falling in love.. now I'm only falling apart.

How true.

I love Bonnie Tyler,

What about the thang Germany's putting up this year?

I don't think either of them really wants to win. Germany was thrilled that Lena won until they realized that they'd have to spend €25 million hosting next year's contest.

Why are they evening still bothering with this nonsense? The Eurovision song contest is a joke and has been for years.

Don't get me wrong, this has nothing to do with Bonnie Tyler - I quite like her.

But it is a bit silly getting a mature, well-known professional singer to be the candidate.

You mean in all the UK there was no younger, fresher, newer talent to be found?

Well that's a sad state of affairs.

You would prefer Jedward of Scoot.... eh?

My Vote goes for Noddy Holder... Singing Danas "All kinds of everything"!!

Yikes - you're right I forgot Jedward (weren't they from Ireland though?)

OK I vote for Noddy too in that case!!! :)

Why would any up-and-coming young act want to kill their careers by appearing in Eurovision?

I ask myself that same question regarding the myriad of "talent" shows on TV.

I've worked with Noddy, thoroughly decent bloke, so he would get my vote any day.

Packet of crisps and a cup-a-soup anyone?

Me too but I often ask another question to follow, where are they all now?

Wrong. Eurovision is a cringefest of cheesy acts and corrupt tactical Balkan voting.

It is a well known fact that Yugoslavia split up to enable this.

Absolutely! What would the Balkan States ever win if there was no Eurovision? ;) And it gives Turkey to chance to prove that they can do cheesy pop just as well as Germany, if not better.

I love Eurovision - one of the funniest things on TV.

I reckon that Bonnie Tyler will be Total Eclipse of the Vote, though.

We should have entered Steve Coogan:

Was I hearing things or is the Jerry entry this year almost a carbon copy of "Euphoria"? Same techno beats, even rhyming with the song from last year?

Jeremy, the fact that you remember the song from last year is sad

So rightly said. You might think of me as the original source material for Alan Partridge.

Nothing spectacular so far, but the woman singing for Spain is so hot.

Good lord, Estonia's is awful. The melody sounds dated.
