Barcode co-inventor dies at age 91

Most of us never give it much thought but the bar code was a huge leap in efficiency. I guess the next leap will be RIFD chips in everything although that is just not as simple and efficient as a bar code.

only Aldi cleverly worked out putting Barcodes everyware lets you throw items at customers.
