Packers Bears at Chicago this Sunday

This looks like the game of the year for me. I don't even care about the Super Bowl. I'm a Packer fan, for sure, but they are playing at Chicago and the division could likely come down to this game. The fact that I can watch it Sunday evening at 7:00 instead of dragging my ass out of bed at 2 in the AM to watch makes it a sweet thing to look forward to.

Are you in Munich? You're welcome to come over and watch it at my place. 2-meter screen, in English (ESPN America). Would love to either--

1. Have a fellow Bears fan to watch it with or,

2. Have a hated Green Bay fan to gloat over when the Bears kick some Cheesehead ass.

Let me know...

Could be Pats and Pack in the SB.

Hey Rick, I'm in Stuttgart and will be watching it on ESPN America too. Wish I could make it over and see your dissapointment when Da Bears lose Da Division.

I think it will be Bears defense vs Packers offense that defines this game.

Go Packers!!

Good call. Cutler barely showed up today.

Crosby was Chicago's 12th man. :-(

An ugly start for the Pack, but the final score is all that matters.

Ouch. Not that the Bears offense really did anything the whole night, so there's no excuse, but the pass interference calls on Jeffries, and the non-call on the interference that should have given the Bears the ball deep in Packers territory at the end of the game were pretty bullshit. Not blaming the officials, since the Bears offense truly stunk, but still...

Forget about the division, the Bears might not even make the playoffs after starting 7-1. Grrrrrrr!

True that. the Pack really strung the D out though. Credit due.

Matt Flynn - too good to be a backup, not good enough to start.

If the Bears lose tonight there will be a hell of a game to watch next week. I won't keep my hopes up with the Packers losing one key player after another.

I thought this whole thread was current, but now I see it's mostly last year's! Funny how it comes down to almost the same situation again. Neither team will survive the first round, but if Rogers and Cobb come back, who knows?

Seems like more Packers fans than Bears fans on TT. Any of you interested in watching at Champions Sports Bar? It's a late game, so we'd have to be sure they won't close before the game ends -- they've done that to me before.

I'd love to join you, especially with a rowdy crowd with beer and a HD big screen but I am in Schwabland and can't make the trip. I will be watching it in HD on my Galaxy S3 while my Frau sleeps next to me waking up once in a while to ask me if they have scored a home run yet.

And I don't see much chance of either team advancing past the first round, but who knows? Stranger things have happened. Rodgers might just make it back in time.
