This Thursday (21:00) at WATERLOO AV Format and Ové Pictures present: a 1 Night Pop-up Art Show ::: Hugs.

“You can not wrap love in a box, but You can wrap a person in a hug.”

"in the beginning we started to draw all kinds of embraces that came to our minds: mermaid hug, t-rex hug, octopus hug, everything.

then, we slowly started to realize that we are still working with the same idea and that there isn’t an end to it, quite the opposite. with such a simple thing, like a hug between two characters, we were able to express and find so many connections and emotions. it was possible to generate and capture a lot of situations and different behaviors using only the hugging as the theme. we then realized we created a series of drawings."

** Exhibition with print & t-shirt sale

** Animation Screening

For any fans of experimental music & noise::: we have a sweet line-up at AV Format this Thursday.

::: torba (noise/experimental)

torba is the solo project of Mauro Diciocia, an italian soundmaker based in Berlin, Germany. His sound is a crude collage of tape cut-ups, hums and cracklings, walls of noise, audible insalubrity, odd found-sounds and other crusty textures.

www.torbaharshdrone.blogspot.com

::: Willis Anne (noise/experimental)

Entrance is free but donations are gratefully accepted (these go straight to the artists) and the ale is cheap, cold and plentiful.
