What a strange thing to do!

From the link, "planking on a police car" got a giggle from me ...

Just don´t try it on your balcony Captain Ridiculous!

I also came here to post a news link. I hope the Munich expats has more sence than captain ridicoulus and let the poor mans tragedy be a warning to them self.

Look, when done sensibly, with the correct training, there is no danger whatsoever! Except for being caught if doing the "law enforcement ground unit roof", or plodcar plank.

That Aussi was an amateur giving us all a bad reputation. I do it on my balcony all the time!

It's like something from a Monty Python sketch or a Judge Dredd story... except it's really real... there are actually people with the time and inclination to do this stuff... and forfeit their lives in pursuit of it... the mind boggles.

Planking's really cool!

Mildly amusing after way too much alcohol, perhaps. Cool. Erm, no.

Extreme Ironing? They're just crazy!

Although coincidentally, "ironing" is one of the terms we use for our straightening exercises. Very important in good planking.

My sense of humor and interest in all things pointless could be described as on par with a 12 year old boy, but I still fail to see the novelty or humor in planking.

Planking is choice. It´s all fun and games until somebody falls 25m to their death... ooopsie.

Beautiful introductory post to this fine Australian sport.

I've been waiting to see someone plank on the arm of the walking man. :) I'd go first but I have a family who need me...
