Rule of the thumb : Do not reply to sob stories. They usually have millions in a bank and cant get their hands on it. THEY WANT YOR MONEY!!!
Do not reply to Russian and other East European dates, no matter how cute the photo. These photos are sent out with up to a dozen different names. YOU will be hooked!!! You wind up paying for a nonexistent visa, for plane fare etc, etc and you will NEVER, EVER see your money or a girl.Check out Russian date scam websites. Immedeately press scam or delete, otherwise you are in for surprises.

I can't believe it, seven pages of crap over a 10 euro fine? Indentionally or "forgetting' it is not an excuse. Pay the 10 Euros, you are lucky it was not 40 Euros. Don't tell me people don't have 10 extra euros in their pocket when travelling in expensive Europe. That Lady had no intentions of ever paying. Case closed.

Munich,Nuremberg,Cologne. Who thought of that? What are the origins ? I know that Cologne was named so by the French, hence Eau de Cologne. It was concocted there and not in France,in the 17th Century. (4711 Koellnisch Wasser) Nuremberg and Munich is easier to pronounce for english speakers.

Franconia, the Elite of Bavaria ! We were sold to Bavaria by Napoleon, we don't speak Bayrisch or Boarisch ( Wikipedia) Bayern ends at the Danube, also called "The Weisswurst Equator" ! We speak Franconian dialect ! In english we sound like Henry Kissinger, not like a Bavarian or Austrian (Arnold). We pronounce T like D, P like B ,some Ks become G, so there! Don't make me mad again !!!

Them: You are joking, right? So, where do you live?

Still don't know what the American fascination is with a half pound of ice cubes in a coke or tap water in a wine glass in a fancy restaurant that smells of clorine. The ice will all be dumped and hardly anyone touches the water, what a waste.Live in the states 50 years and it is still my culture shock.
