Ever heard of Le Parkour? It's an urban extreme sport invented by some bored French dudes. The idea is that runners, or "traceurs", run free form by jumping across roofs, walls, fences, and even parked cars. It's a bit like skateboarding but without the skateboard. Actually it's not a totally new concept. Urban cultures all over the world have their own varieties with names such as Noboarding, Freestyle Walking, or Soaping. The most important point of Parkour is to feel at one with the urban environment. According to the Deutsche PK Community database the only traceurs in Munich are a couple of teenagers in Grosshardern. Maybe it'll catch on? Maybe not. If you're interested, they claim the best place in Munich for soaping is the Saturn building near Theresienwiese.

Hi this is pev ever since i heard about parkour ive been hooked, i can do some sweet moves now like the double tick tac grab, which is cool ive also adapted my own style which i think people need to do. People dont want to see the same stuff over and over again like in motorcross no offense to anyone but it gets boring after a while. My styles good for me and if any one wants to know more email me. but no weird f**k ups. Cheers Pev

i've been doing pk for a really long time, without even knowing that it was a real sport, i never even knew that there were other people that did it.lots of people don't do pk simply because they're afraid. here's a tip:don't be afraid. just practice. start by jumping onto fire hydrants or climbing up easy walls. just don't give up. unless your paralyzed.
