Great German Food. Consistent quality. Friendly service too. Restaurant can get very smoky so it is great to go when it is a little warm and all the windows/sliding doors are open.

We spent our Sunday (22.02.09) evening here after it had been recommended by our tour guide. The staff were impeccable, the service was first class and the food beautifully cooked. We arrived at 9pm without booking. Sat down on one of there wonderful antique sofa's until a table became available which took around an hour. No issue as we could relax with a bottle of excellent wine. Once sat down we were able to take our time without any hassle from the staff to hurry up (as in the UK!!!) and left at 2am. It is now a NON SMOKING Restaurant with great surroundings, good jazz CD’s playing but not to loud as so you could not chat. Highly recommend this cozy wonderful restaurant to all age groups.
