Il Pane e le Rose - Berlin

The restaurant had a nice, lively atmosphere. The restaurant seats around 100 people, so it can get quite loud. The food was very good, but quite pricey and the portions were rather small. I'd recommend ordering an appetizer as well as a main dish, or having a Döner afterwards.

We went here on Easter Saturday. The food is of exceptionally high quality, though the prices of the wines might make your eyes water. There are reasonably priced ones as well, though. I had a pasta dish followed by a fish main course, which I just about managed. Both were excellent. If you want the 'full works' Italian, this is the place. If you were planning on just a main course or just pasta, you might need that extra kebab - but it would be a shame after such a nice meal! There is now a non-smoking section available.
