Established in 1779, Habel Weinkultur styles itself as a traditioinal "Prussian tasting room." The cuisine itself ranges from standard modern continental to more traditional prussian fare. They feature a large selection of excellent wines and will gladly advise you if you are looking to try something new.
The restaurant itself is split into a main restaurant with cozy seating and soft lighting and a lower Weinhandel area. The Weinhandel can be rented out for gatherings. They will cater your gathering with a buffet.
Entrees range from 10 to 30 and the Menü can be had for between 19 and 32 per person plus drinks. While it is not the least expensive place in Berlin, it is an excellent location for a romantic date or to start a night of fun in the nation's capitol with a few friends.
