Established in 1779, Habel Weinkultur styles itself as a traditioinal "Prussian tasting room." The cuisine itself ranges from standard modern continental to more traditional prussian fare. They feature a large selection of excellent wines and will gladly advise you if you are looking to try something new.

The restaurant itself is split into a main restaurant with cozy seating and soft lighting and a lower Weinhandel area. The Weinhandel can be rented out for gatherings. They will cater your gathering with a buffet.

Entrees range from 10€ to 30€ and the Menü can be had for between 19€ and 32€ per person plus drinks. While it is not the least expensive place in Berlin, it is an excellent location for a romantic date or to start a night of fun in the nation's capitol with a few friends.
