Since there is no TT curry night here in Wiesbaden, I went to my own tonight and had an excellent meal of Lamb Vandaloo. I asked for "Indian scharf" but my time of staying in Germany is perhaps too long, I was crying rather than enjoying my meal! The kind waiter offered to take the dish back and make it mild. This time round, I could taste the tender lamb (mutton) and the delicious spices in the sauce. The waiter was nice too so the restaurant is now in my "Wiesbaden restaurant" book.

Was here last week with my wife. Service was ok, being a saturday eve, the waiters were rushed off their feet suggesting they arent used to being that busy hence the reason why we were always being apologised for the lateness of our meal. Our main bonus was that we conversed in punjabi which helped-they gave us small portions of most of the main dishes so we could taste them and decide! We had aubergine bhartha and chicken tikka masala which, nan aside, was delicious! Infact the best bhartha we have tasted. Spice wise was palatable however they do take into consideration its either not too bland or not to hot for one. We also took more of the sauce the chicken was cooked in and they didnt charge us for that. When the food arrived arrived the portions werent hearty but enough and the nan bread was about 1cm thick-resembled a flat pattie!!! Not the way nan is meant to be nevertheless my tandoori roti was similar. Desert was also ok. All in all its worth a trip just for their service. We paid exactly €49.00 including drinks.
