Garibaldi - Frankfurt

Great truffle pasta with parm. and truffle oil. Waiters can be a bit "friendly" with us girls, but it's all good clean fun, right?

We went here the other week. The food was good but the service was awful! They clearly wanted us in and out as soon as possible and wanted us to all pick from 2 or 3 dishes to make life easier in the kitchen (which as you can imagine were expensive meat and fish dishes and some people only wanted pasta or a pizza!). I have been there a few times and think that it is fine if you are 2 or 4 people but a nightmare if you are in a larger group!

BEWARE of this place. Admittedly, the quality of the food (as well as the location) is quite good. However, the waiters have tried to scam us on the bill on more than one occassion. Once, they even refused to show us the check. There are plenty of quality authentic Italian restaurants in Frankfurt (in Westend: Isoletta, La Divina, Machiavelli) where the waiters do NOT try to rip you off, so you are much better off avoiding this establishment.

Scandalous place-have black listed it. Heinous service but good food.
