If you are lucky enough to spend some time in the beautiful little city of Lübeck, get even luckier by visiting this great little microbrewery, Kneipe, restaurant and Biergarten situated a few metres up from the river.
The 'Zwickelbier' was drawn straight from the wood and was the nicest I have drunk in a long time and at 4.8°, strong enough without blowing your head off. They serve nice, reasonably-priced traditional German food and have a bar area and a beer garden. Location map, Getränkekarte and Speisekarte are all on the website. I was there on a Tuesday evening, early, and it was busy. I loved it. Give it a try.
